How does the procedure work in MedicalTOUR

Once You’ve selected a treatment (or few of them) and comfort package (yet, the latter is not mandatory at this stage of the process), You can request a personalized quote, providing a brief description about Your situation. It can be easily done either by filling our online Get Free Quote form, mail, customer service will email You within 24 working hours to discuss Your needs.

Provide Necessary Information

In order to get the most accurate quote, we may request either to fill out our health questionnaire (in order to get important details, such as medical history and records, etc.) and / or talk with our customer service about Your expectations. We may also advice You on information / files, based on Your condition, to request from Your local healthcare provider, should we need that for better evaluation of Your case.

Request Assessment

Our team shares Your details with the experienced doctors in order to review Your case. Specialists recommend suitable treatment (or a complex of them) to ensure that You get unmatched services and determine a maximum if not fixed price for the asked procedure.

Get A Personalized Quote

Within 48 working hours we will inform You with the options for Your best healthcare treatment (with estimated cost included) and comfort service package options. Take time to review them and, once ready, contact our team either by phone or mail. Our customer service specialists will make sure all Your medical treatment related questions, specific fears or needs are clarified and You feel comfortable with the process. Once You confirm preferable options (both, procedure and additional amenities), an invoice for a 20% deposit payment together with our service agreement will be sent in order to start finalizing Your medical travel.

Finalize Your Treatment Plan

When all Your questions have been answered and You are ready to proceed, we will book Your medical appointment date and assist You with appropriate travel arrangements, like: applying for Visa (if necessary), booking flight, hotel accommodation, airport and hospital transportation, comfort services of Your choice, travel insurance and medical complications insurance.

Once the reservations have been done, we will send You a confirmation letter, including:

Preoperative treatment guide;
Reservation confirmations and necessary materials;
A schedule for the treatment.

At this point You will need to prepare for Your trip only.

Arrival

When You arrive in Istanbul, our chauffeur will personally greet You at the airport, transport You to Your hotel and ensure that You have everything You need for a comfortable stay. We will also arrange for You to be transported to all Your medical appointments as well as assign, if only needed, a health manager to be with You that speaks Your language for additional support. 24-hour assistance will be provided during entire stay for Your comfort and convenience.

Recovery Period

Once Your treatment is over, You will receive a detailed plan for postoperative recovery and all necessary equipment for the rest of Your stay. Our health manager and doctor will stay in touch with You in order to examine and update You on Your health improvements. As we aim to support Your recovery fully, first-hand physical therapy will be included in our service, only if necessary. More, if only needed, we will provide You with a personal training program once You get back home.

Returning Home

It is important to us at to stay in contact with You after Your treatment to follow up on Your recovery and ensure that You are satisfied and achieved Your healthcare goals. After the final check-up with Your doctor, You will be given aftercare instructions and travel clearance. This aftercare period is important physically and emotionally, thus we stay in touch with You for as long as You wish, even after You return home. We will help with any questions You have or coordination between the medical teams in Your home country and in Istanbul. Usually, yet subject to the treatment You undergo, after two or three-month recovery period the specialist, who operated You, may ask You to send photos and / or inform by email about Your healing process. Your medical complication insurance expires six months after the surgery and Your treatment process is regarded as concluded.
